Mu Alpha Theta

The Math Club
Mu Alpha Theta is a National Mathematics Honor Society. We are dedicated to inspiring keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school students.
Since Mu Alpha Theta is an honor society, students have to meet certain requirements to join.
They are the following:

Must have completed the equivalent of four semesters of college preparatory math and be enrolled in a more advanced course.

Must have at least a 3.0 grade point average in math course.

Must pay a $5.00 national membership fee.
In addition to these requirements, students who join mut be prepared to attend meetings and participate in club activites. Mu Alpha Theta meets on the last Tuesday of every month at 3:30 p.m. in room 128. Club activities generally include tutoring, participating in math competitions, and organizing some sort of math activity for the school.
